My Projects
I have a couple of other projects I work on when I’m not totally wiped-out from a day at work.
Feedbag is a Java-based, Ajax-ified news reader. I started this project about a year and a half ago both because I wanted a decent news reader and I wanted to explore Ajax and REST. I haven’t done much with the application itself in the last six months or so, but the underlying REST framework that emerged while we wrote it might be worth polishing and releasing.
Chikken In A Bukket is a simple Camping application that provides lightweight browser-based access to your Amazon S3 account. I’m becoming a big fan of Amazon’s Web Services and have been using S3 for the last few months. This has been a fun little Ruby project.
I’m also porting the sample code in Toby Seagaran’s book, Programming Collective Intelligence, over to Ruby. I’m working with a crack team of Ruby programmers around the globe. You can find our little project on GitHub.
